THANK YOU to all troops that participated in the 2022 Fall Product Program. We hope that girls learned, had fun, and met their goals.
Congratulations to our 2022 Fall Product top seller, Kayleah H, who earned a giant Monk Seal! Well done!
Please deposit all fall monies by December 2. VERIFY that you have collected everything by checking the troop balance due in the M2OS fall system. On the home page, under Financials and Reporting, choose “Troop Summary/Amount Due Report.” The Balance Due Council will be the amount taken by the council on December 7, 2022, via ACH debit. If you have any questions or concerns, or families who are not paying, please contact your Product Program and Finance Specialist.
Fall Product Evaluation
As your troop wraps up the Fall Product Program, please take a moment to complete our short survey. Your feedback helps us to plan for next year’s program. Thank you!

Cookie Program News
Get REWARDED for attending Cookie Training! Take Troop Cookie Training, either Experienced or New, Live or Recorded by January 12, 2023, and in addition to learning about the 2023 Cookie Program, receive an activity kit for every girl registered in your troop! How cool is that?
Cookie Training and Cookie Q&A is HERE!
Each live cookie training session via Zoom will be recorded and posted to gsLearn. These cookie trainings are “just-in-time” – giving troops enough information to get cookies rolling for their troop.
We will again have regular Q&A sessions throughout the cookie season. Timely topics will be covered, and you can bring any pressing questions as well. Due to the nature of Q&A, these sessions may not be recorded. Hope to see you on Zoom! Currently, these sessions are scheduled to begin at 6:30PM and will run for about an hour. Our March 9 session will be a fun special session for GIRLS so please spread the word!

Walmart Cookie Booth Update
Does your community usually set up Walmart cookie booths? If so, a change is coming. New this year, due to a national agreement between GSUSA and Walmart, all cookie booths must be set up by the council. This is for Walmart booths only. More details to follow.
Is Your Troop’s Cookie Team Registered?
Anyone in your troop working extensively with the troop’s cookies or money should be registered and have passed a background check. Most especially, Troop Cookie Managers (TCM) need to be registered and pass a background check prior to the initial order. If you have a TCM not registered by January 6, 2023, know that we will ACH debit the troop their registration fee and get them registered.

Service Unit Financial Reports – due February 15
Service Units are required to submit financial reports twice a year, on February 15, and September 15. (This is not for troops; this is for members of your service unit team.) The report, due each year, provides the council with a picture of how your service unit is doing financially, and how the service unit signers are being good stewards of girl money.
Forms are available on our website at www.girlscoutslp.org. Click on Forms (upper right), then Service Unit Forms, and then SU Finance. Download the SU Financial Report Form 4703, available in Excel or PDF formats, to your computer. Complete the requested information, and the Excel version will calculate.
Please include a copy of your checkbook register or spreadsheet, or your SU Monthly Treasury Reports. Completed reports may be sent to customercare@girlscoutslp.org or Girl Scouts Lakes & Pines, 400 Second Ave South, Waite Park, MN 56387. We appreciate the time you invest in girls by reporting on and safeguarding their service unit funds. Questions? Contact your Product Program and Finance Specialist.
