Join us for the day at Kaleidoscope, our annual signature event held each spring! Kaleidoscopes gives Girl Scout members an opportunity to develop leadership skills through a variety of educational, fun and challenging program activities. The full day includes girl recognitions for the 2025 Cookie Program as well as GSUSA National Level Adult Awards as well as breakout sessions.

Please complete the linked Jotform to select your top (7) activity choices, confirm meal choice, and provide additional information as requested. Youth participants will be scheduled for (5) sessions. Adult participants will be scheduled for up to (5) sessions.

Youth can apply up to $30.00 in cookie dough/program credits towards this event. Scholarship funds are available for youth participants!

Session Activities for Girl & Adult Members

  • Painted Rock Frames (Grades K-5): Create your own photo holder with rocks, paint, wire, and beads
  • Simple Snack Parfaits (Grades K-5): Make a delicious and health parfait, while learning the importance of eating colorful foods
  • Squishy Circuits (Grades K-5): Learn all about electricity and circuits using play-dough in this STEM activity
  • Animal Interactions w/ Lake Superior Zoo Mobile (Grades K-12): Experience up-close animal interactions with the Lake Superior Zoo
  • Animal Approach w/Pawnd'r Rescue (Grades K-12): Learn all about household pets including dogs, bunnies, and more
  • Dance w/UWS Jacket Jams (Grades K-12)
  • Martial Arts w/Team Ascension (Grades K-12)
  • Otter Games (Grades K-12): Join in the fun with classic camp games lead by Otter, our Camp Roundelay director
  • Yoga (Grades K-12 & Adults)
  • Space Explorer Stomp Rockets w/Duluth Children's Museum (Grades 2-6): Learn about space, rockets, and the forces of flight as you launch stomp rockets with the Duluth Children's Museum
  • Rock Climbing w/UWS Staff (Grades 2-12)
  • Soccer Basics and Teamwork (Grades 2-12)
  • Fly Tying (Grades 2-12, Adults): Learn the basics of fly typing and take home your very own fly tie. Thank you to Orvis and the Superior Fly Angler for rods and materials to support this session.
  • Fly Casting (Grades 2-12, Adults): Learn the basics of fly casting! Thank you to Orvis and the Superior Fly Angler for rods and materials to support this session.
  • Archery (Grades 2-12 & Adults)
  • Coding for Cookies (Grades 4 - 12): Learn the basics of First Lego League, First Tech Challenge, and First Robotics Competition robots in this session created by one of our Girl Scouts as part of her Gold Award.
  • Charcuterie Boards (Grades 6-12 & Adults): Learn the basics of food art as you craft your own charcuterie board.
  • Macrame' Leaves (Grades 6-12 & Adults): Learn the classic art of macrame by creating macrame leaves
  • Pickleball (Grades 6-12 & Adults)
