Board of Directors
Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines is governed by a volunteer board of directors who guide strategic planning and manage council policy.
Board members represent the geographic areas of the council and are elected by delegates at the council’s Annual Meeting. Management of day to day operations is delegated to CEO Leigh Ann Davis.
Girl members ages 14-17 apply to be a Girl Scout Board Representative. The Board Development committee selects five separate (5) girls to attend one board meeting each.

Service Unit Delegates
Service Unit Delegates help determine the general course for Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines and give guidance to the Board of Directors. Each service unit elects delegate/s from their registered Girl Scouts, ages 14+. The number of delegates each service unit selects is determined by its number of girl members. Delegates represent their service unit at the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines’ annual meeting.

Developing a Policy Proposal
