Girl Scouts Lakes & Pines is governed, according to its bylaws, by a Board of Directors composed of volunteers who believe in the value of Girl Scouting and are elected by the Delegate Body of the council.
The Annual Meeting is facilitated by the Board of Directors Chairperson and is an opportunity for the important business of electing the Board of Directors, electing National Council Delegates every three years and voting on other important governance work like By-Laws and policy changes as needed.
