Registration opens on May 31st at 10:00 a.m. in MYGS!
Our World Our Family is a weekend event for Girl Scouts in grades K-12 to attend with their troop or adult guardians. With over 40 different activities, overnight lodging at Camp Lincoln or Camp Lake Hubert, and a variety of lengths of stays to choose from, Our World, Our Family has more than enough adventures for everyone!
This is the largest, annual Signature Event that Girl Scouts Lakes & Pines hosts. Since 1985, Our World, Our Family (OWOF) has been bringing Girl Scouts together to participate in the ultimate Girl Scout weekend through hands-on programming that develops courage, confidence, and character. While session choices and schedules may shift and grow over the years, just like us, the heart of this event has remained the same.
New for 2023: check out our new activity sessions available in this year’s pods! We have also adjusted pod age ranges to provide the best possible experience for participants of all ages. Additionally, we have added an all-weekend Leadership Pod for Girl Scouts in grades 10-12! Start your weekend by getting to know your group through some team-building and leadership training sessions before having the opportunity to assist with Saturday night’s talent show and Sunday morning sessions. Additional details will be included in the final confirmation email sent in August 2023.
Each youth may choose their activity pod that corresponds with their selected length of stay. Although troop members may be in different pods, they will eat and be housed together. Staff will assign housing, which will be included in your final confirmation and will be emailed mid to late August. Full payment is due at the time of registration. Youth participants may use Cookie Dough/Fall Bucks to cover up to 50% of their registration cost. Youth program scholarships are available for those who qualify. Troops may use Adventure Points to cover registration costs as well.
